Privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-10-22

These privately operated utilities serve the owner and people who receive specific written permission. They access only accounts and data that the operator is authorized to access. This policy describes the data practices of the utilities.

Data access and use

The utilities retrieve Google account data to create local archives and support retrieval and organization of that data.

Work-related use must comply with applicable law, account permissions, employment or client agreements, and confidentiality duties. This policy does not grant permission to retain or reuse employer, client, or third-party data. It does not change existing rights in that data.

Storage and protection

The utilities store downloaded data and access credentials on the owner’s computer. Credentials are stored separately from downloaded data. The owner restricts access to those files and keeps credentials out of public repositories.

Google access can be revoked as described below.

Sharing and other services

The tools retrieve account data for local use. They do not forward that data to third parties or external processing services.

The owner can separately share information directly through the email account where authorized. Such sharing is not performed by these tools. It remains subject to applicable permissions, law, confidentiality duties, and Google user-data policies.

Retention and deletion

The utilities retain downloaded data until the owner deletes it, subject to applicable legal and contractual retention and deletion requirements. Removing information from Google does not remove an existing downloaded copy. Revoking Google access does not delete those copies either.

The owner can delete local archive files and their associated records. Deletion must also address other copies described in this policy. Applicable retention duties can affect when deletion is permitted or required.

Google API data

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Those requirements also apply to any other services that process the data. Work-related use does not create an exception to Google’s requirements.

Revoking access

An account holder can revoke a utility’s access through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future access through that authorization. Previously downloaded data remains until it is deleted under the retention practices described above.

Policy updates

The owner will update this policy when data practices change. The date above identifies the latest published version. Before introducing a new use of Google data, the owner will update the disclosures and obtain consent where required.
